APPOINTMENTS

Our hours are by appointment only. We are routinely open between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday.  Dr. Jones is available after hours for consultation on ocular emergencies.  When calling to schedule an appointment for the first time, clients should be sure to get directions and to leave us a phone number. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early if this is the first appointment for your pet. There will be some paperwork to fill out and the pet’s pupils may require dilation with eye drops. New clients should bring any eye medications they are using on their pet.

The doctor should be notified if an animal is aggressive or otherwise difficult to examine. This allows the doctor and the staff to take measures to protect the safety of both our staff and the pet.

Surgeries are generally performed on a different day than the examination. The exception to this is ocular emergencies. Pets should not be allowed access to food after midnight the night before surgery. Water should be removed by 7 am the day of surgery.
