Andrea is a full-time receptionist at our Kirkland location. She joined us in summer of 2019 and came to us with quite a bit of experience in the animal field. Prior to working at NWAES, she did non-invasive research on American crows for 3 years as well as volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center and helped raise hundreds of baby squirrels! She has a Bachelor’s degree from University of Washington in animal behavior and is working on obtaining her medication clerk license.
Last year Andrea presented her research on crows at the 55th Annual Conference of the Animal Behavior Society and although she is not currently researching crows, she is still deeply interested in wildlife rehabilitation and animal behavior. At home, Andrea has two cats – Momo and Phoebe.
