Stephanie and her dog Sherman
Stephanie is a Veterinary Receptionist who works full-time at our Renton location. She joined Northwest Animal Eye Specialists in the fall of 2020 and came to us with 4 years of experience in the veterinary field. Prior to joining NWAES, she worked at an emergency veterinary practice and then a general veterinary practice. She is currently working on obtaining her Veterinary Medication Clerk License.
Stephanie's favorite aspect of working in veterinary medicine is interacting with clients and getting to know them and their pets. She loves learning from the doctors and technicians she works with about how to better care for her own pets. She also enjoys seeing the many different dog breeds that we encounter each day! Aside from Ophthalmology, she takes a special interest in Intervertebral Disk Disease (IVDD) in long bodied dogs, managing care for pets with long term disabilities, and senior and elderly pet care. Stephanie and her husband Matt love rescuing Dachshunds - their oldest doxie lived to the ripe old age of 18! Currently, they have one rescued Dachshund named Sherman.
Outside of work, Stephanie loves to spend time in the great outdoors. She enjoys kayaking, cycling, camping, hiking, and reading. She is a Seattle Thunderbirds fan and loves watching hockey, movies, reading more books, and spending time with friends.
