Uriah works full-time as a Veterinary Assistant at our Renton location. She has a Veterinary Assistant certificate from PIMA Medical Institute and had already worked in the veterinary field for nearly 4 years prior to joining Northwest Animal Eye Specialists in March of 2020. She says her favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is the satisfaction of providing the best possible care for a pet to make them feel better and to make their owner happy. Aside from ophthalmology, her veterinary interests include radiology, preventative care, and dentistry.
Uriah is a native Washingtonian who hails from Seattle. She knew she wanted to be in the veterinary field from a young age, so she joined PIMA Medical Institute’s Veterinary Assisting program as soon as she graduated high school! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies and TV shows, discovering new restaurants, going on walks, going to the park, and reading new books. She has one pet at the moment - a 1.5 year old shorthaired Brown Tabby cat named Violet.
